Hotel Overview The Kancamagus Motor Lodge is nestled in the heart of the White Mountains at the entrance of the famous Kancamagus Scenic Highway. Enjoy the ever-changing Kancamagus, where fishing, hiking, swimming, mountain biking, kayaking, exploring and leaf peeping abound. In Spring, see mother nature awaken the mountains and explore these valleys during this special quiet time. Several area festivals and events are held to celebrate spring here in New Hampshire, while some visitors travel for thousands of miles just to sample fresh maple syrup boiled in one of our local maple sugar houses. In Summer, visit the many scenic wonders of the White Mountains. We are just minutes from the Flume, Old Man of the Mountains, Lost River, Franconia Notch State Park, and several entertaining theme and water parks that are fun for both young and the young at heart. Our heated outdoor pool awaits you on a lazy summer afternoon. In Fall, the cool, crisp nights turn the mountainside into a spectacular sea of color, right outside your window. By December, the Winter snow has begun to fall and Ski Season finally begins! Loon Mountain, one of New England's finest ski and snowboard areas, is just one mile from our door, and Cannon Mountain, Bretton Woods, Wildcat Mountain and Gunstock are only a short scenic drive away.
